A white-painted door stands freely in space. Visitors can walk through it, and it closes automatically behind them. An illuminated EXIT sign marks a way out, although neither an inside nor an outside can be clearly defined.

Removed from its architectural context, the door loses its function as a spatial boundary. It suggests a transition that is physically enacted without actually leading from one space into another.

eXit explores the relationship between space, boundaries, and embodied experience. The work marks an exit without an interior – a threshold whose meaning emerges only through the act of crossing it.
